Ever since I was little it has been tradition to have special dinner on Sundays. I think it is partly because it is the Sabbath, and partly because everyone is home to have family dinner and there is more time to prepare more things. This week was my turn to make dinner, and here is what i made; Cod-steamed in the oven with lemon, dill, and capers. Tartar sauce to go with the fish, boiled potatoes with garlic, herbs and Parmesan cheese, garlic Middle Eastern bread, and peas.
oh my! I miss home cooked meals so much. I love family and later on my own friend/family made dinners together. I miss you and this dinner looks delicious! {p.s. in addition to all your other plans I think you should open a bakery in West Village and let me live in a little side room of the bakery and eat pain au chocolat together every morning!}
Yum! You know, I only live 5 minutes away ;) I made a garlic and citrus pork roast for Sunday dinner with fresh orange and lime juice. Sound delicious? It was not, the lime juice became so bitter in the oven it was practicly inedible. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

ReplyDeleteWell, wow. That's all I can say. Wow. Except this: why weren't we invited? Hmph. :o)
